You do not need to bring anything with you to the STITCHATHON Orientation Workshop on January 17, 2019.

 

BUT, you do have to bring a few items with you to the STITCHATHON Hand Embroidery Workshop on January 31, 2019 in order to participate.

 

Below is the list of materials to bring with you to the January 31, 2019, STITCHATHON Hand Embroidery Workshop:

1)  Participants must bring 1-1/2 yards of a white, cotton fabric that is a medium weight and no less than 44 inches wide. 

MAKE SURE your fabric is gently PRE-WASHED BEFORE you come to the first STITCHATHON Hand Embroidery Workshop on January 31, 2019.

This is done to pre-shrink the fabric before embroidering on it.

Gently pre-wash your fabric in warm water, then either hang your fabric to dry or place in the dryer on a cool setting. You can iron fabric after it has dried.

2)  6 inch wooden or plastic embroidery hoop.
